Rebuilding an M96 or M97 engine after an engine failure? We offer used core components that have been thoroughly inspected and reconditioned.
Intermediate shafts are checked for runout (shafts with excess of .005" runout are not suitable candidates). The main IMS drive sprocket is also pinned to prevent slippage that can cause a loss of engine (camshaft) timing.
Crankshafts are magnafluxed to check for cracks and journals are polished. Under no circumstance are crankshafts welded or machined to accept undersized bearings. All crankshafts have standard (STD) journals. If you are missing or need a replacement engine component, we more than likely have it.
If you are looking for a replacement engine block/case that has already been reconditioned and upgraded, check out our selection of blocks available outright or on exchange (subject to refundable core charge).
