While the 944 might not be the first car that comes to mind when thinking of a “Classic Porsche,” it holds a special place for many enthusiasts. Engine cooling is a top priority for owners looking to keep their 944 running like new. OEM replacements are hard to find, and reliable aftermarket options are scarce. CSF, in collaboration with Joe Anselmo Motorsports, is proud to release the High-Performance All Aluminum Radiator (CSF #7088) and the optional Fan & Shroud Kit (CSF #8180; sold-separately) for the Porsche 944 (NA & Turbo).

Design & Engineering

Joe Anselmo Motorsports, a leading Porsche service center specializing in 944s, provided invaluable expertise in developing a radiator that fits all models of the Porsche 944. This High-Performance Radiator is a true plug-and-play “Drop-in Fit” upgrade, featuring CNC machined mounting brackets for precise fitment and OEM style slip-on connections for compatibility with any radiator hoses.

Compatibility with NA & Turbo Models

The CSF radiator is designed based on the dimensions of the NA radiator but with an increased core capacity to exceed the OEM Turbo radiator’s cooling performance. This design choice ensures compatibility with both NA and Turbo models without sacrificing cooling efficiency. CSF includes CNC billet spacers for the 944 Turbo (951) to accommodate the size differential.

Attention to Detail

CSF’s radiator features removable/adjustable crossover pipe brackets, catering to the Turbo model’s crossover cooling pipe. This addition enhances the installation process, making it feel even better than factory-installed components.

Upgrading the Fans

Recognizing the limitations of the OEM fans, CSF’s optional 8180 Fan & Shroud Kit incorporates modern electric fan technology for more efficient air movement and a reduced electrical load. The low-profile dual 9-inch SPAL fans, designed to fit both the CSF #7088 Radiator and OEM 944 NA Radiators, offer a significant upgrade over the original design.
