Our aluminum chain boxes/cases for all Porsche 911 Mezger engines are billet, not cast, and are machined from a solid billet of aluminum. Not only are the stronger than the original cast magnesium chain boxes, but they look better too. We’ve engineered these new replacement chain boxes to be a direct bolt on that matches the aesthetic of the originals as closely as possible and being that they are made out of 6061-T6 aluminum, they won’t corrode or oxidize like the original magnesium chain boxes.

Anodize colors available: clear anodize (bright dip – looks like raw machined aluminum), matte clear anodize, black, blue, red, green, gold, orange, purple, copper, penny, or gunmetal. If purchasing multiple items with custom anodize finish, please call us first before placing an order as we can have multiple items anodized for the minimum batch charge.

Set includes both left and right chain boxes. Hardware sold separately. Proudly made in the USA by LN Engineering in Momence, IL!

Fits 2.0 through 3.2 Porsche 911 and 914-6 models from 1970 through 1989 and 3.3 Turbo engines up to 1992.
