Vintage Trader was founded with one goal in mind: to develop and provide state-of-the-art, yet simple DIY LED solutions with a ‘period correct’ look for Porsche 356, 911 and 912 models in both 6 volt and 12 volt versions. An easy safety upgrade for your vintage car, especially with their LED headlights and super bright LED brake light bulbs so you can see and be seen!

As a kid, pretty much all of Vintage Trader's Jules' family vacations revolved around 356 events. He spent countless hours in the back of their family's 356 travelling to meetings and gatherings stuffed in between bags and suitcases. As he got older, his interest in early Porsche cars increased and he restored dozens of 356s as a joint hobby with his dad.

The idea of LED upgrades to our beloved air cooled classics evolved out of dire need. With His 25 year background in the automotive industry, Jules clearly saw room for improvement to the various dull 6 volt candle lights in his 1957 356A coupe. Especially in modern traffic, our little cars are barely visible, distracted drivers only make matters worse. But Jules wanted it to be state of the art, bright but with the ‘period correct’ vintage look - so no modern blue white refrigerator LEDs. With that said, his mission was set!

After installing a set of his interior and exterior LED bulbs in our 1965 Porsche 356C and LED headlights in our 1975 911S, we were so impressed we decided to add them to LN Engineering's catalog. Trust us, you'll be happy with Jules' DIY LED solutions!
