BoostLine Connecting Rods

BoostLine Forged Connecting Rods for Porsche Boxster, Cayman, and 911 Engines
BoostLine forged connecting rods for Porsche Boxster, Cayman, and 911 models are an economical and proven alternative to factory โcracked capโ connecting rods that can fail both on the street and on track. In addition to rod bolt failures common to M96 and M97 engines, engines with bore sizes larger than 99mm or those subjected to autocross or track use require replacement of the original connecting rods with a true forged connecting rod to prevent catastrophic beam failures that can destroy an engine beyond repair.
With many years of experience designing, engineering, and manufacturing connecting rods and crankshafts, Race Winning Brands (RWB) developed the BoostLine product line as the next-generation evolution of their earlier K1 Technologies offerings. BoostLine products are engineered to deliver high strength, consistency, and durability at a fair price, backed by the same manufacturing expertise and technical support that made K1 a trusted name in performance engine components.
Why Choose BoostLine Connecting Rods for Your Porsche Engine Rebuild?
BoostLine strives to provide a high-quality forged connecting rod at an affordable price point. BoostLine produces โrace-readyโ connecting rods designed to exceed the limitations of factory cracked-cap rods. These connecting rods are a cut above typical imported rods, combining robust forging with precise machining and finishing in the United States to some of the tightest tolerances accepted in the racing industry.
BoostLineโs rod design is optimized to reduce unnecessary mass without sacrificing strength or rigidity. All BoostLine connecting rods feature ARP rod bolts exclusively for improved clamping force and long-term reliability in high-load applications.
BoostLine Quality and Materials
Premium 4340 chromoly steel is used in the manufacture of all BoostLine forged connecting rods. ARP 2000 rod bolts are included as standard equipment, with ARP 625+ Custom Age bolts available as an optional upgrade. Bearing bore tolerances are held to ยฑ0.0001 inch. Bronze pin bushings allow for full-floating wrist pins.
All BoostLine connecting rods are designed, machined, finished, and inspected in the United States at Race Winning Brandsโ Mentor, Ohio facility.
BoostLine Manufacturing and Inspection Process
Before any finish work is performed, BoostLine connecting rods undergo 100 percent magnetic particle inspection. ARP rod bolts are installed and torqued to specification prior to honing to ensure accurate and repeatable big-end bore geometry. All BoostLine connecting rods are honed in-house, with bore sizes held to some of the tightest tolerances in the industry.
Connecting rods are weight-matched into complete sets and packaged with rotating, reciprocating, and total weights clearly documented to simplify engine balancing during assembly.
Exclusive BoostLine Connecting Rods for Porsche Engines Sold by LN Engineering
The BoostLine connecting rods sold by LN Engineering for Porsche Boxster, Cayman, and 911 models equipped with M96 or M97 engines are manufactured exclusively for RND Engines by BoostLine and are not available through other sales channels.
For only slightly more than the cost of reconditioning factory rods with new pin-end bushings and upgraded rod bolts, BoostLine forged connecting rods provide a substantial improvement in strength, reliability, and resistance to rod bolt and beam failures. They are an excellent upgrade for any Porsche engine rebuild where durability and long-term reliability are priorities.
