The CSF-8168 oil cooler is designed as an OEM replacement that provides superior performance with plug and play fitment including the OEM rock guard and all factory mounting hardware. As a leader in water-cooled Porsche performance cooling, a few years ago, CSF started to get many inquiries for classic Porsche oil cooling products. After market research, CSF was very surprised to uncover the disconnect between OEM supply and market demand, as well as the lack of high quality aftermarket replacement units available. Used as a universal-fit cooler, these new oil coolers can be mounted horizontally, vertically, as well as parallel to the ground (provided that the oil cooler has proper air-flow). The longer/shorter rectangular sizing allows the oil coolers to be placed in spaces that don’t have much vertical surface area as well as promotes better airflow to the other components in the cooling system.
