Precision Matters Porsche 356 and 912 billet aluminum full flow remote adapter oil pump cover allows for the addition of an external oil filter for 100% filtration, unlike the factory bypass oil filter which filters only a very small portion of the oil in your engine (approximately 8% of the oil gets filtered). Use of a remote adapter also allows you to add an external oil cooler or Accusump to your Porsche 356 or 912 engine. Converting your engine to full flow filtration allows for cleaner oil which extends engine life by reducing wear. Fits 1960 and later engines with stock exhaust systems and electric tachometers. Their design incorporates an internal pressure relief valve to prevent damage due to over-pressurization during cold starts. One less place for oil drips. The Precision Matters Billet Aluminum Engine Sump Plate really hold the gaskets firmly and remove one of the most common oil leaks on all Porsche 356 and 912 engines. Upgrading to their billet aluminum sump plate also aides cooling and looks great on your Porsche 356 or 912 engine. This sump plate also adds a drain plug and drains the oil from the lowest part of the sump; the plate was redesigned to drain the last half-pint of the nastiest, most contaminated oil and it saves wear and tear on 50+ year-old sump drain plug threads. Precision Matters has also upgraded their sump plate to include a "HS" Neodymium ring magnet which provides no degradation even at at 300*F! Still more than 12 times stronger than the former ceramic part and is still easily removable for cleaning and have no center rivet to leak.
