  2. Porsche 944/944T (951) 100mm Engine Block Reconditioning. No pistons or rings included.

    SKU: 111-100

    $3,102.66
As an alternative to our Nickies Lite direct plating we offer our Nickies sleeving service for Porsche 944/944 Turbo Alusil engine blocks. We machine out the cast in sleeves and replace them with billet aluminum nickel silicon carbide (NSC) plated wet liners. Not only does this provide a sizable increase in strength, it also improves cooling and a far superior wear surface on the bore equivalent to Nikasil that is well known for its durability and low friction properties. This service is offered for applications where cylinder damage does not allow for direct plating of the Alusil engine block directly and corrects for most known cylinder issues. Bores are honed to 100.00mm. Price includes deck resurfacing. Piston set sold separately. Learn More

  14. Driven DT40 Full-Synthetic 5w40 European Sports Car Oil (Case of 12 Quarts) 02406

    SKU: 607-01

    $191.88

Designed for Porsche Engines By Industry Leading Engine Specialists

PCA: Driven Racing Oil's Porsche Boxster project is rolling test bed for oil development.Developed in and for the M96/M97 engine for Porsche Boxster, Cayman, and 911 models as a collaboration between Driven Racing Oils, Flat 6 Innovations, and LN Engineering.

Learn more about Driven Racing Oil's Porsche Boxster rolling test bed for oil development over on PCA.org.

We recommend oil changes every 6 months or 5000 miles, whichever comes first, using Driven DT40 engine oil.

Formulated Specifically For Modern Sports Car Engines

DT40 utilizes advanced synthetic base oils to provide high temperature and high shear protection for high output performance and turbocharged engines, as well as European sports car engines with and without variable valve timing. DT40 reduces oil consumption by limiting oil vaporization and foaming. Ideal for modern German, Italian and British sports car engines, and is compatible with E85 and water/methanol injection. Viscosity typical of 5W-40. An excellent upgrade over any factory Porsche approved A40 oil.

    Increased Moly Content

Typically, most European oils have 0 to 50ppm of moly. Driven DT40 has over 300 ppm of moly in the form of MoDTC. Research has shown that increases in ZDDP and moly content can help reduce wear (bore scoring) in engines with hypereutectic bores, like Alusil and Lokasil.

Driven DT40 is recommended for engines requiring an A40 Porsche approved oil. Please note that Driven DT40 does not carry factory Porsche A40 approval but meets or exceeds the requirements for any engine requiring an A40 oil. For direct injected engines or those requiring a Porsche C40 spec oil, please use Driven DI40.

Note: We recommend DT40 in place of Driven HR6 Synthetic Hot Rod 10w40 oil.

Driven DT oils do not meet current ILSAC GF-6A, GF-6B, and API SP standards and is not recommended for vehicles with particulate filters or where emission system or LSPI protection is required; Driven DI oils are recommended for these applications. Safe for use on vehicles with catalytic converters.

  23. Driven CSP Coolant System Protector (12oz Bottle) 50030

    SKU: 607-11

    $11.59
Improves Water & Anti-Freeze, Prevents Corrosion, Reduces Temperature & Protects Water Pumps Protect your engine block, cylinder heads, water pump and radiator from deposits and corrosion that reduce the effectiveness of your cooling system. Don’t put your engine at risk from the corrosive effects of coolants mixed with non-distilled water. The minerals in regular water and well water cause corrosion and degrade the performance of the coolant. CSP neutralizes these minerals and prevents damage due to hard water. This is especially important when you add make-up water to the coolant system. CSP prevents corrosion in modern "orange" OAT coolants, traditional "green" anti-freeze and straight water. Keeps engine coolant passages clean and lubricates water pumps. Do not mix w ith other coolant additives. Adds Corrosion Resistance to Modern “Orange” OAT Coolants Better “Wetting” than Traditional Coolant Additives Improves Engine Cooling by Improving Surface Wetting & Lower Surface Tension Stops the Adverse Effect of Hard Water Better than the Leading Brand of Coolant Additives Protects Against Rust & Corrosion Inside the Radiator, Water Pump & Cylinder Heads Stabilizes Hard Water We use and recommend Pentosin's Pentofrost coolant/antifreeze for all European makes and models along with Driven CSP.
